In the Valcarion Series, two central characters are orphans from a very young age and suffer deeply because of it. Luke Edison has set out to help orphans in real life so that, like the fictional characters in his books, they too can enjoy a life of adventure. Through the Bendrick Orphanage Project, Luke Edison dedicates himself to donating portions of his proceeds from The Valcarion Series to orphanages and children's outreaches around the world.
